It’s not an unpleasant smell, but I’m not sure what these reviews are talking about. This is a bit too floral to smell anything like pipe tobacco. It’s not a strong throw and doesn’t last very long either. Was kind of disappointing.

Agree with one of the other reviewers that this is the most realistic pipe tobacco scent I’ve found….and I’ve tried a lot. Sweet enough to make this a very pleasant smell but not cloying. The smell of tobacco also definitely comes through. Great throw as well.
